The RISD Visual Resources Collection catalogs its images using a Filemaker Pro database designed by a consortium of schools that adheres to the accepted data standards for our community, namely VRA Core 4 (a dataset) and Cataloging Cultural Objects (rules for using VRA Core 4), both developed by the Visual Resources Association.
